Christmas Day 2011

Christmas morning started off with a shower for Koriann, other wise she is so grumpy!! It really helped her wake up and be in a good mood. I wish I would of gotten a picture of her face when she first walked in, PRICELESS!! She was so excited and just wanted to open everything that SANTA had brought.Christmas morning was so fun with the girls!! I think that it is just going to continue to get funner every year with these two little ones.

Koriann made this cute calender at school for me and Zeke. It is so precious, they are so amazing at the school. I LOVe homemade gifts, they mean so much to me.

Making sure it was actually OK to tear into it

Tearing into it

Aspen even showing interest and helping Grandma open a present.

It's a Jiggly Pig!! Aspen loves it to death.

We had the BEST Christmas EVER!!!! It started out a little rough with me getting a cold on Friday, but it quickly went away thanks to nurse Tammy. My parents came Friday afternoon and stayed until Sunday afternoon. Koriann was so excited to have them here. They brought they girls so many presents, it was a little overwhelming for Koriann, Aspen on the other hand was just taking it all in happy as could be. We all evidently got spoiled this year. Thank you to all who gave us gifts we sure do appreciate them!! We made so much candy and food it was ridiculous. Zeke's favorite was the divinity, he has been wanting it all year long but it is just way to much work just for one person. We had awesome marinated steaks, shrimp, ham, cheese balls, rolls and tons more candy to eat all weekend long. The best part was having fruit cake and omelets Christmas morning, it's a tradition at our house. Everything tasted so good and I'm sure we all gained 5 pounds.

Koriann LOVES her Grandpa JEFF!! It was a little hard for her to understand why she couldn't rough house with him. He had just had back surgery, we are so happy that he was able to make the big trip and come!!

Got to have some Christmas jammies!! Made with LOVE by Grandma!!

Aspen LOVES her Grandpa, she is so cuddly.

Koriann just couldn't handle the anticipation, she was trying on Friday to open gifts.

Aspen and Grandma

Anniversaries and Toaster?!!

So as Zeke and I were getting ready for bed last night at around 10 o'clock we both had realized that we forgot our anniversary!! I do believe it is a special day, but not to the extent of if one of the spouses forgets that they should be made to fill guilty about it. I am so thankful that both me and zeke don't place value on one certain day!! So we said Happy Anniversary at 10 o'clock and that was the extent of our 5th Anniversary. Then we got talking about how we finally got a toaster for Christmas, Zeke thought that it was AMAZING that after 5 YEARS of marriage we had finally received one. I was laughing my head of at this point because he was trying to talk about toasters and anniversaries in the same thought and it was turning out hilarious!!! But to give a shout out to Zeke, I LOVE you more than words can described and you are and awesome father to our beautiful girls!!! We are so thankful for everything you do for us. We LOVE you ZHD!!!
So here's to 5 YEARS BABY!!!

Our little crawler!! I feel that she is way to little to be crawling and pulling herself up to things. She is so cute and we love her no matter what she is doing!!

We Finally Did It

I feel like such a grow up this week, ha. Over the weekend Zeke and I bought our first vehicle together. That's right our first one, his truck finally crapped out on us so we took the plunge and bought a used car. I actually really love it. Ya it's not brand new, actually far from it but it has low miles and will be nice for the commute to work and for traveling. Koriann when she first saw it said "I Yike our new car" so I guess she's a keeper if it passed the toddler approval.

Yep we got a good old reliable pontiac. Better yet it's a Grand Am. In high school me and Kristy used to go everywhere in hers, and I do mean everywhere!! They are little beasts and have a lot of power. Let's just hope it last a for a few years!!
