3 months and growing!!!

We LOVE her blue eyes, so beautiful!!
Is thumb sucking a curse or a blessing?!
Still has all of her hair and it's growing fast.
Sweet, sweet little face. BTW Koriann took this pic.

Holy cow Aspen is growing way to fast!! She has discovered her thumb and it is now really hard to feed her because she always has her hands in her mouth. She can also roll over from either right or left and back to front and vice-versa. She has really discovered her voice this last week and loves to talk to anyone who is near or far. Koriann still loves her oh so much. The other day Koriann put her down for her nap, she shared her blanket to swaddle Aspen and gave her kisses and told her to go ni-night. Oh how I love that they love each other. Aspen still sleeps about 7-9 hours a night and how heavenly it is, she doesn't really care for naps though, but will take them. She also loves to play with her toys, and the ones Koriann gives her. She is really good at swatting the ones on her play mat. We love you so much Aspen!!

Koriann painting toenails

Concentrating and being oh so careful!!

So the other afternoon Koriann was getting ready to take a nap and was being a little pill. I couldn't figure out what she wanted, then she showed me. Ta-Da nail polish, her most favorite thing in the world. Only this time she didn't want me to help her, she figured she was big enough to do it herself so I let her have at it. She actually does really well, and doesn't make a mess. I love how independent she is and all of her little quirks.

County Fair 2011!!!

Riding the Ferris-Wheel.
The Horse-Pulls, they are really good.
Koriann on the little train, she didn't want to get off.

Touching the animals, Koriann would be in heaven if she could do that all day, everyday!!

We have an awesome county fair out here. Koriann had a blast, of course the animals were her favorite!! The best was when she saw the pig, she just laughed her head off at that pig. You would have thought the pig was the greatest thing in the world. The carnival was way fun also. We also went to the rodeo, which is always fun to watch. Koriann had no fear when it came to riding the rides. She wanted to ride every one of them, the ferris wheel was her favorite though. Overall it was a fun time and we can't wait for another one.

Growing way to fast!!

How can you not love these smiles?!!
Koriann is growing so fast, seems like yesterday she was just learning to smile. Love you Cupcake!!

Our girls are growing way to fast, it is really fun but also sad at the same time. Koriann is getting really good at her numbers and letters and sounds. She has also decided that it is ok to eat food. She now will actually eat breakfast and most other meals. We are so happy, now maybe she will put on some weight.
Aspen is getting more talkative and mobile!! We love it so much, she can roll across the room and kicks her legs to try to move herself forward. She gives us the cutest smiles and is not stingy with them. Koriann can always get her to smile. Aspen is a really good eater and an even better sleeper, still going strong and sleeping about 8-9 hours a night. We love them so much and are so grateful we get the privilege to have them.

UBIC Parade

The awesome funeral carriage.
Really cool old thrasher

Koriann "workin" the floats to get candy.
Aspen doing what she loves!!

Out here in the Basin they have a week long celebration called "Uintah Basin In Celebration". It is really awesome and they have so many events going on. We went and saw some softball games, and the basketball tournament. They had quite a lot of teams enter and it was really quite entertaining. But the best part of "UBIC" is the parade. It was AWESOME. Koriann got a full garage sack of candy along with a beach ball, Frisbee, mini volleyball, and many otter-pops. I was really impressed with how many floats they had. So went all out while other not so much. Koriann is a pro at going and collecting candy, plus she knows how to work the crowd. She waves and smiles and dances for every float that passes. We had the perfect spot, right under a tree, and only one other little kid by us.

Later that night was the concert and it was pretty good. It was Chuck Wicks, who is actually really fun and entertaining. At about 10 o'clock the big firework show took place. It was fabulous. They don't skimp out here on fireworks!!

Cookin' With Dad

Their finished product, ready for the oven.
Koriann had some on her arm and just had to lick it off!

My Chefs!!

The other night Zeke wanted brownies to take with his lunch for work, so Koriann decided to help him out. She LOVES to cook, no matter what it is. Koriann will beg and cry till you let her help you out, she has also started just pushing a chair over to the counter and get a spoon to help. I love that she is so willing to help me out with just about everything, lets hope it last.
I do believe the best part for Koriann is trying what we are cooking. She loved the brownie batter and had it all over her.

Sleepin' Little Babe

She is so stinkin' cute, we just love her to pieces!!

Nap time with daddy!!

Is there anything cuter than a sleeping baby? We have discovered that Aspen likes to sleep on her side, and with her arms up by her face. We think it's absolutely adorable. We love her so much and she has brought so much love to our home

Man summer is just flying by, is already August? We have been having so much fun. Koriann went to Grandpa and Grandma's for the 24th of July and had a blast. Zeke and I just stayed home and went to a work BBQ, it so fun. Also it was really nice have just the 3 of us at the house. I was able to get quite a bit of painting done, and I was also able to have a nap with Aspen. It was great to be able to spend one-on-one time with Aspen, we both really enjoyed it. But we were so happy when Koriann came home, she was only gone for 3 days but it felt like forever. Zeke really missed her, and wanted to talk to her every night. We love our girls so much.

The other day Koriann was so tired, but really didn't want to take a nap. So I just put her on the bed next to Aspen, and Koriann was so excited to "sleep" next to baby sister. Koriann held Aspen's hand and feel asleep. It was such a cute moment for them and me.
