 Aspen LOVES to be outside and playing with anything she can find.  This tape measure keep her occupied forever.

The last weekend we decided to pack up and head to Stansbury and spend time with family.  It was so stinkin' fun and good to get out of the basin.  The girls had a blast, especially Koriann.  Aunt Nicole's house is huge and has so many big girl things to do there.  We just wish all the kids would have been home for the weekend.  Aspen was cutting teeth so it was a little rough for her but we still managed, the best part was her sleeping in a box.  The biggest reason we went was so Zeke could help build a fence for there pool.  Which is going to be so cool.  The fence looks so cool and is going to look awesome when it is stained.  They all worked so hard and it paid off.  Thanks guys for the fun weekend and for letting the kids wreck you house.

Little Worker

 I LOVE how much of a big helper she is!!  We really appreciate and LOVE her so so much!

Koriann is such a big help with anything I ask her to do.  She always wants to just help you .  She always jumps at any task especially if it involves water.

The Big Birthday

We decided to do the birthday at our house just for convenience.  It was so fun having everyone come and celebrate our little honey bee.  She is so loved and so many people care for both of the girls.

 The big girls decided to get the party started early and went about swimming.
Zeke was so nice and added some hot water, the pool felt like a hot tube.  They played for hours in it.

 LOVE these little girls so much!!  They played so hard and had so much fun.  They had to copy each other with everything they did.

 Then Zeke decided to set up the new sprinkler toy and they had lots of fun with that and the slip and slide.  Both grandmas went a little overboard and spoiled Aspen like crazy!!

 Grandpa built some new add-ons to the girls swing set.  It looks so good and the girls have already been playing in the "house"  as Koriann calls it.

Overall we all partied way to hard and had a great time.  It was so fun to be with family for the birthdays of Aspen and Zac.  Then we all were able to have a fantastic Mother's day.  Can't wait till we can all get together again!!  Thanks to everyone who came.

1 Year old!!

Our little honey bee is 1 year old now and it is causing some serious freaking out!!  Aspen is the sweetest little spirit and we couldn't have asked for a greater daughter.  She is the happiest little baby ever!!

The girls were in matching clothes so I took the opportunity to snap a few photos of how cute they are.  I LOVE how out of the many that I took there are only a handful of decent ones.  Koriann was being uncooperative and Aspen was tired and hungry.  But this here is why I refuse to shell out hundreds of dollars for pictures every couple of months!!

The other evening we just up and decided to build a fire and do S'mores.  Koriann was so excited and knew just what to do.  The only part she didn't like was the heat from the huge fire that Zeke had going at the very first.  Koriann really liked when they would catch on fire and then she didn't want to eat them because they were "GROSS".  I wish Aspen hadn't been asleep and was outside enjoying the evening with us.  I can't wait until we can put in an actual "fire pit".

Koriann's school had a little track meet for all the students and it was so freaking cute!!  The high school FCCLA students came and helped out, they all did so well.  Koriann wa so excited to see her daddy and Grandpa there supporting her.  She has been practicing her bike riding, running, long jump and even the hurdles.  I LOVE her school so much and how it brings out all the cute little personality traits in the students.
