Our Girls

These girls just KILL MEEEE!!  They are all pretty stinking hilarious to be around.  Summer is going to rock this year, they are at such fun ages.  Some days they are little weirdo's but they still crack me up. 

 Koriann is really into casting spells on anyone or anything with in her range.  She will find the smallest stick or twig and start her spell casting on you.  The best when she told the guy at the hardware store he was no a toad, I don't think he thought it was as funny as she did, Koriann was laughing out loud and he just gave me thee worst look in the world.  We both left the store dying of laughter.

Aspen is thee is in thee cutest toddler stage!!  Some days she is funny and others she is just so feisty, but even then she is just a little ham.  She tries so hard to keep up with her big sister.  Aspen is such an explorer and loves to play in any dirt around, her fav of lately is the garden.  She is easily self entertained, maybe that's why she is the easiest child to be around.

Quinn just continues to grow and smile all the time.  She is getting more and more mobile.  Quinn still has the cutest smile ever!! Maybe it has to do with the one little dimple she has on her right cheek, it KILLS me every time she smiles.  I mean how could I not give her whatever she wants when she flashes that smile.

 

 

 

 

 

4 Stinkin' Months

 

Quinn decided to disobey orders again.  Little stinker, but oh well I guess we will go on loving her.  Quinn is growing like a weed, and she needs to stop right this moment.  We all seriously LOVE this little one so much.  I feel like she is progressing faster than the other 2 girls and it is breaking my heart.  Aspen and Koriann are still just smitten with her and want to be around and hold her ALL the time.  You would think the novelty would wear off but nope not yet.  Quinn is the easiest little baby EVER!!  What ever we are doing she just goes with the flow and joins the fun. 

 

Quinn at 4 Months:

Weight: 12 lbs  2 oz

Height: 24 1/4 inches

You are long and lean my little girl

Sleeps through the night still (it's heavenly!!)

Can roll over both ways

Has really discovered her feet

Scoots on her back

Slobbers ALL THEE TIME

Has the cutest little voice

Wants to sit up more and more

Giggles, coos, and smiles non-stop.  It is truly the best sight and sound I could ever imagine

Very mobile in her crib at night, we often walk into her room in the morning to see that she has rotated 90 degrees in her crib

Starting to grab at things.  Occasionally she gets a good hold on something and she immediately brings it up to her mouth

Pushes her bottom lip out when she is really upset or scared.  It's disgustingly cute

My favorite part of the day is our conversations.  You can talk to her and she replies with her little baby sounds and it is so delightful

Eats 4oz every 3-4 hours during the day

Wears 3-6 Month clothes

Has some long feet and very long body

Can seriously sleep anywhere

LOVES to be outside

Smells divine

Has the cutest blue eyes

Hair is still brown but is turning blonde (surprise surprise)

Is so cuddly and loves to be kissed

 

 

TWO Candles

Aspen is one celebrated little girl.  We had a birthday bash over the weekend and it was so fun to have cousins come.  Aspen is still so so shy and didn't hardly want to interact with anyone, but she had fun regardless.  The best part of the day was when we went to sing to Aspen and she was not impressed at all and gave us all the funniest looks.

Aspen my how you have grown over the past year.  You have brought so much joy into our family and we wouldn't know what to do if you weren't here.  Your smile brightens every room you walk into.  You seriously are the happiest little girl and hardly ever cry.  You are one tough cookie, and put up with all the shinagians that Koriann put you through.  I could seriously cuddle with you all day.  Books are your favorite and you are always wanting to read.  Aspen I LOVE how you always wake up happy and excited to greet the day.  You can talk so well and are learning the Alphabet fast.  Green and blue are your favorite color.  You love your horses and puppies, no seriously you can spot an animal from a mile away.  Dad is still your favorite person by far, you ask a million times a day where he is and then you race to the back door when he gets home.  Dressing yourself is a struggle but you are so INDEPENDENT and want to do everything by yourself.  We LOVE you so much little honey bee and are so grateful you chose us!!

Oh Rapunzel

Koriann literally believes that she has hair just like Rapunzel.  Which in a sense she does.  I mean it is long and is very golden, just minus the magical part.  But don't even mention that part to her, it would just break her little heart.  I think it's so sweet that she is always trying to "heel" things with her magical hair.

 

 

End of school 2013

Today was koriann's last day of school and award program.  It was really bitter sweet.  This girl LOVES school and want to go every day!!  She is so stinkin' smart and just amazes us each and every day.  Koriann has come so far in the last 2 years of school it is mind blowing to watch.  She has really come out of her shell and has just turned into a social butterfly.  Koriann received the award for being the classroom reader and the best classroom greeter.  I cannot sing enough praises to her teachers and everyone at her school, they are all so amazing!!  This school is literally an answer to our prayers. 

Koriann has just grown so much over this past year some of the things she can do are:

Count to 20

Recite the alphabet

Recognize and name every letter

Write her 1st and last name

Cut with scissors very well

Traces very well also

Knows shapes and colors really well

Is doing so well with her speech (thanks MR. D)

Has made some of the best friends EVER

 

Koriann we are so proud of you and all you have accomplished so far.  We can't wait to see what else you will do.  I hope and pray that you will continue to have a love of school, learning and reading forever.
