Oh Aspen

 

Little girl you make my heart smile.  You have grow so much way to fast.  Next month you will be 2 and i can't believe it?!?!  You will say any word we ask and sometimes you just but out a new word or phrase on your own.  You LOVE your older sister more than words can describe.  Sometimes your tease her just to get a reaction out of her, it is quite hilarious to watch.  You are kinda a tadel tale, any little thing that happens you come running to mom or dad.  You have a menace streak in you and it is so fun to watch.  You are not keen on being disciplined and will just ignore us and continue on with what you are doing.  You still have your beloved blankie and heaven only knows what will happen when that thing falls apart, I am not sure if you will survive.  You love your crib and have no desire to sleep in a toddler bed, and it's perfectly OK with mom and dad.  Aspen you have brought so much love and joy into our home and make everyone around you smile and strive to be better.

Month 3

Holy squirts does time need to slow down!!  If only pregnancy went as fast as their time out of the womb it would be heavenly, no but seriously please SLOW DOWN!!  I feel like little Quinn was just born yesterday, and we were bringing her home.  She is an absolute jewel and just goes with the flow of our crazy life.  Quinn is such a sweet blessing and she was MEANT to come to us!!  Everyday is just better and better with her around us.  Her older sisters just LOVE her to death.  Quinn melts my heart with every cry and smile and she has her daddy completely wrapped around her finger.

 

At 3 Months Quinn:  Weighs 10 LBS 6 oz

Length is almost 23 Inches

Sleeps LIKE a CHAMP

Doesn't like to sleep in a quiet room, there must be noise for her to sleep

Now eats between 3-4 oz at every feeding

Can roll over to her tummy

Is a thumb sucker

Still has the cutest baby cries EVER

Has one cute dimple on her right cheek when she smiles

Has long and skinny feet

Smiles all the time

LOVES when we kiss her cheeks

LOVES to have her hair brushed

Loves bath time

Doesn't like her arms swaddled

Is really noticing the world around her

Has us all COMPLETELY wrapped around her little finger

Loves to coo and ah to anyone who will listen

Still wears a size 1 diaper and 0-3 months clothes

Still dislikes tummy time but is getting better at tolerating it

 

Quinn you are a bright ray of sunshine in our lives and I thank my lucky stars everyday that you allowed me to raise and love you!! 

 

 

 

    This is my new all time favorite of Quinn as of right now!!

We decided to have a little quick photo shoot on her 3 month birthday and she was just happy as could be.  Quinn gave us some really good smile and some of the most hilarious faces.

Spring storms

 Aspen is pretty rough with Koriann and pushes her to the limit some days.

 Quinn just decided to up and start swinging at the toys on her play mat.  It so cute to watch her and the new discoveries she makes each day.  But time needs to slow down!!

 Koriann is very into princesses and everything that goes with it.  The best is when she tells us to "Kiss my Ring!!"  I have know idea where she learned it but it's hilarious, she will say it to anyone.

 She is seriously the smiliest baby ever.  She gives smiles and loves freely to us and we love it.

We have been trying to keep busy with the storms we have been having.  Which has been so awesome, we really really need the moisture.  So lets all not complain about the snow, cause who doesn't like to shower?  The girls have been getting along so great and play with each other 99.9% of the time.  There latest obsession's is wrestling and horsey rides from each other.  The little squirt has been a jewel and just sleeps, smiles, eats and poops.

Warmer Weather

 Love this little girl, she is in heaven being outside.

Poor Koriann couldn't have her way and go swimming.

We have a had a few nice days inbetween the spring storms ans all the girls want to do is play outside.  It has been so nice to start working on our yard.  Aspen cries EVERY time I have to bring her in.  All Koriann wants to do is go swimming, but it is still to cold for that.

My Girls

I have decided I need to take more photos with myself in them, that way when the girls get older they relize I was actually there too.  Myself and the older girls love to get in as many snuggles as possible on cold snowy days.  Koriann always wants to bust out the camera and be silly.

Daddy's Girl

These 2 are best buddies.  Aspen adores her dad to death.  He is her best friend and she thinks the world revolves around him.  When she is sad all she wants is him, if she wants to cuddle she runs to him first.  Aspen has serious stranger danger and clings as tight to her daddy as possible.  I know Zeke just LOVES it and enjoys every minute of being her everything.  I am just thankful to Zeke for being the great father he is to every one of our beautiful girls.

Independence

Aspen is always putting on the craziest outfits, but at least she can dress herself.  This girl LOVES her clothes, the only downside to her little obsession is the laundry that entails from it.  But she so happily like to help me with that too.

Cooing and Smiling

                                              
                            How FREAKING cute is she?  Seriously!!

Quinn started cooing and smiling in at just over 9 weeks and we think it's the cutest thing EVER!!  Baby Talk is the new normal around here, we may just not ever got back to talking normal again in this house hold especially when we get smiles out of this babe.  Time needs to slow down, Quinn my darling you are growing way to fast.

Cooking!!

This little Honey Bee LOVES to cook!!  Every time she can get her hands on pots and spoons she is stirring up something.  This day it just happened to be powered sugar that was left with in her reach.  Surprisingly she didn't spill any of it, but we did have big crocodile tears when we had to empty the pan.

Flying Kites

Koriann has been so excited to fly her kite , even better was that it was an Angry Bird kite!!  She was so cute and totally into it as long as there was constant wind.  We have tried a few other times but we haven't had enough wind and trying to have a 4 year old wait doesn't work so well.

Such a cutie and we LOVE her to death.  Koriann is the sweetest most caring and thoughtful girl and big sister anyone could ask for.

Easter 2013

We hunted for eggs after getting back from the friggin' cold of monticello.  The Easter Bunny did not dissapoint and their was so many eggs to find.  Both girls had a blast and it was the perfect weather.  It was nice to have all the hooplah done and over with on Saturday that way on Sunday we can celebrate the true meaning of Easter.  Easter is my favorite holiday. 
We had a nice time at church. I love Easter time. What a great time to reflect on a single selfless act that enables me to be forgiven of all my short comings and weaknesses and to return to live with our Father in Heaven, our Elder brother Jesus Christ and some people near and dear to my heart.  The message of the Atonement and Christ's Resurrection is the most powerful by far. The hope that we can all live with our Loving Heavenly Father, the comfort that He knows our sorrows intimately, and the promise that we will live again brings more peace to my soul than anything else.
