Spring Program

Koriann just had her spring program at school today and she did AWESOME!!  We are so in love with this little girl and are VERY PROUD of how far she has come this school year.  Also a huge thankyou to all the teachers and staff at her school.

11 Months!!

Our little honey be is now 11 Months old!! Holy mother where did the time go?!! Aspen has the cutest little personality, but she can also be very feisty!!

At 11 Months Aspen:

Wants to walk so BAD!!

Still only has 6 teeth

Sleeps 10-12 hrs a night

Doesn't really like to take naps (afraid she might miss something)

Waves Hi

Shakes her back and forth for no no

Says Mama, Dada and Yo (for you)

Only wants to eat table food

Is a master of the sippy cup

Loves to cuddle

Is a biter!!

Is very much a mommy and daddy girl, has serious stranger danger

Thinks Koriann is the best person

Has the BLUEST eyes EVER!!

Best smile around

LOVES soft pillows and blankets

It is so fun to see your little personality showing. You're a bit rebellious at times and do things you know you're not supposed to.

Example:
You will hold out your sippy cup over the edge of the table and look at me and I'll tell you, "Don't drop it Aspen." Then you'll pretend like you're going to give in and give it to me, but snatch it back and hold it out again, look at me, drop it this time, then look at me again like, "what are you going to do about it?" haha already testing your limits. You'll even pretend to pick up something off of the floor and proceed to put "it" (nothing) in your mouth just to get my attention!

You also go every time for the wipes and proceed to try to pull out ever single one if I am not in the room watching you!!

This has been such a fun month full of milestones, learning, growing, and has also at times been pretty exhausting. You have way more energy than I do! I'm convinced you will never be chubby because you are constantly moving. You just want to walk, walk, walk. You like to hold one of my hands and walk around ALL day. You had been taking 3 or 4 steps on your own but just recently you walked all the way across the room! You are a bit of a scaredy pants and still want me to walk with you but you could totally do it by yourself.

We LOVE you so much and thank everyday that we have you in our lives.

Easter Eggstravaganza!!

Aspen was really excited to dye eggs, that or maybe she just wanted to eat them.

Koriann thinks she is all big now and never wants any help, she actually was really careful and did really well!

Koriann was really good at spotting eggs and Zeke hid them in some pretty tough places.

Aspen picked up a few but mostly waited until Koriann brought them back and then would steal them and put them in her bucket, we were all laughing well except Koriann.

"I think I will just borrow one of my sisters!" HAHA


We seriously had the best Easter EVER!!! We decided to do our little family egg hunt and basket find on Saturday. Koriann was so excited and was having a hard time being patient waiting for that "Big Bunny" to leave her some eggs. We hid so many eggs, mostly just so Koriann would have a fun time finding them. Then on Sunday we went with our friends the Mechams, who by the way are seriously the best people on earth, and had a huge egg hunt with their family. It was so much fun to see Koriann interact with all the other little kids. They hid around 200 eggs and Koriann was a pro at scouting them out and getting them. We talked about how it was Jesus' birthday, Koriann was pretty excited about it. We were going to blow out a candle, but we forgot. I am just so grateful that I have the knowledge that I do knowing our Savior, Jesus Christ, is alive and watching over me and my family. I will never ever be able to explain the gratitude that I have for the atoning sacrifice that He made for all of us. I am forever grateful that I will be with my family forever through His choice. I simply love Him.

Koriann is obsessed with the camera. Better yet she is actually is obsessed with taking pictures. Anytime the camera is with in reach she will grab it and just go to snapping pictures. Usually there is only a couple good ones out of the dozens that she takes, but I must say that she is getting better at it.

Sunny days

We all have been enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having so far!! We mostly spend all day outside on the swing set. Both Koriann and Aspen LOVE to be outside. I pulled out Aspens' 9 month clothes and I kind of forgot all the cute clothes we were given for Koriann, especially the hats.

She is a pro at her sippy and always wants one.

Aspen wakes up with the most awesome bed head!!


Koriann really and i mean REALLY LOVES her sister!! Everyday morning when Koriann hears Aspen wake up she crawls in the crib with books and reads to Aspen. I LOVE it so much, it makes my heart melt the way these two interact. Aspen just loves when Koriann plays with her, and vice versa. I only hope as they grow older that they continue their close bond with one another.
