Yesterday we closed on our house!! We are so excited. Right after we finished signing papers we headed over to Lowes to buy a few things for the house. We can't wait to get started on the remodeling, it is going to look like a completely different house after we are done. Koriann already loves the new house, I think it's because of the yard we will actually have grass. I will post pictures soon before we start the remodel. It feels so good to finally have a place to call home.

BBQ
Tonight our ward had a BBQ. It was so fun and there was some really great food. Zeke was made though, because he only got one of my deviled eggs. So I told him I would make him some more tomorrow. There are so many young couple in our ward. It is finally nice to be able to have the time as a family to attend church activities. We played horseshoes, the rubberband game, volleyball, softball. The kids mainly played tag and flew kids, well sort of flew kites. Koriann had such a good time running around and eating everything. She had to have a taste of almost every thing. I forgot my camera, so no pictures, which I am kinda made about because we had such a good time with our friends. Zeke thoroughly enjoyed playing horseshoes with his friends, it was so nice to see him just relaxing and having a good time. We are really starting to like living out here, It really helps that we have an awesome ward and great friends.

Ok so we are so close to signing on our house, we can't even contain our excitement. It is going to be so fun to have a place of our own to fix up. The best part of the house is the large back yard with a covered patio. We are going to BBQ all the time now. Zeke has been working on the house like crazy, I on the other hand just paint. I can't wait to decorate Koriann room, I'm thinking right now doing pink and chocolate colors with a western theme too it. The house is kinda old but for the price we couldn't pass it up, yes it does need some work but nothing major. They are painting all the trim and garage doors right now, it looks like a new house from the outside. This may sound crazy but I can't wait to mow the lawn, seeing as all we had for two years was sand everywhere. I want to plant flowers along the side of the house and have a small garden in the back. There is a sprinkler system, so that will be so nice to have. Zeke thinks we should get a miniature horse for Koriann to have and just keep it out back. I told him this will never happen. Zeke is getting so excited to start building boots, I am also. I already have a couple ideas of what I want him to make. Zeke says the first pair of boots he's making is for Koriann, how many 20 month old children have hand made shoes? I will post some pics of the house soon.

Wow it has been forever since I posted pictures of Koriann. We have just been so busy these past couple of weeks. The most exciting thing is we are buying a house, it's a cute little house with a garage. The owner was a cute little old lady and she took excellent care of the house. We thought about building but then we decided why not buy a house, seeing how the market is perfect. We also are not planning on staying here more than 5 years. But we love the house and it will give Zeke the chance to really build cowboy boots and do his leather work. If all goes right we should close in 2 weeks and then we will start painting and redoing the floors. We pulled up the carpet and found original oak hardwood flooring, that was pretty exciting for us. It will be so nice to finally have a place of our own to call home, seems like all we have done since we've been married is just get by and manage. But now we have our own place to do what ever we want with. Koriann has just been playing and being her cute little self. She now goes to nursery and loves it. She is talking more and more all the time. Her favorite thing to do is still ride the horses, I don't know what we are going to do with her sometimes, she has quite the temper. The hard part is not to laugh when she becomes upset and throws a fit. Zeke now has a calling in church, I so far have lucked out. Zeke is the assistant scout master and the 2nd counselor in young men's presidency. He really enjoys his calling, I think because he never did scouts and young men's really growing up. We have just been enjoying life as a family and spending time outdoors when it is nice weather.

Easter
For Easter we really didn't do anything, so I know. Zeke had a 3 day weekend so we just spent time as a family. On Friday we went to lunch as a family for my birthday, it was so fun. I feel so old at the moment, but it will pass I hope. Then for the rest of the day we just played outside with Koriann. It was awesome having conference on Easter weekend. The talks were really great, plus you don't even have to leave your house, by far the best part for me. The weather was really crappy on Saturday and Sunday so we had a little Easter egg hunt inside. Zeke is like a little kid when it comes to doing that kind of stuff, he loves it so much and gets so excited. Koriann was totally into finding the eggs, she knew exactly what to do with them. We decided to do Easter on Saturday, that way we could separate it from the real meaning of Easter. I think in the long run it will really pay off doing it that way, we shall see. Koriann received from the Easter bunny some clothes, coloring stuff, chalk, gardening tools, and the cutest sunglasses I have ever seen. She loves everything and is loved by many people. Overall it was a great weekend, hopefully next year will be even better.

Koriann had to hand every egg to her dad first, she loves sharing with him.

Reaching for her eggs, Zeke kind of made the hard to find, but Koriann found them all.

Eating string cheese and watching Tarzan. The weather out here has been so nice, we have been going for nice long walks twice a day and playing outside and at the playground in between. Koriann loves being outside, she would live outside if I let her. Also I have no idea how to even manage to keep her clean. We seriously change her outfits at least 3 times a day. Koriann's grandma gave her the cutest little gardening set, she loves it. She goes around digging everywhere and anywhere we let her, but her favorite part is pouring dirt onto her clothes. Our sweet little old neighbor bought her a little lawn chair, it is the cutest thing ever. She is so SPOILED it ridiculous, but what can you do she is just loved by so many people.
Koriann is so spoiled, she has a million dresses for church. I honestly don't think she has ever had too wear the same one twice. Koriann ha sbeen going into nursery, she does great. There are two boys the same age as her and they all do really well together, except when Dawson tries to give her hugs and kisses. She pushes him down and tries to hit him. I don't know whether to laugh or scold her. She is growing up so fast. Koriann has to have her bag of raisins and cranberries before she will leave to go to church. She is getting so particular about little things. We love her so much and she is the best little girl honestly.
