Christmas 2010

We had the most fabulous time ever. It was very laid back and quiet, just the way we like it. It was really great to spend Christmas in our own home. Zeke says that since we left the Seeps no place has really felt like home, until now. We had a very white Christmas, which was my only wish. The only bad part of all this snow is the shoveling that comes with it, UGH. Zeke had a couple days off of work, which was so nice because he is a WORK-A-HOLIC. We started celebrating on Thursday by going to his company Christmas party, holy cow did they spoil everyone. The food was catered and was fabulous. Zeke is liking this aspect of living and working in town, all the little perks that his company does for him, but that is about all he like, he is really starting to get home sick for the ranch. On Friday we slept in, which is was a first for us in a while, Zeke always leaves early and Koriann has to get up early to be with her daddy. We made a huge breakfast then headed outside to play in the snow, Koriann absolutely loves riding in the sled. We found a nice gentle hill across from our house in the wash and Koriann loved going down it all by her self, she didn't want anyone to ride with her. We stayed outside for almost 3 hours and Koriann cried and threw a fit when we had to come back inside, but her little nose was just as red as could be.

The Big Day was awesome, seriously Christmas with a toddler is the best thing ever!! Zeke was so excited to play Santa and wanted to wake Koriann up at like 4 a.m. but I on the other hand was not really into that idea, so he let her sleep into about 7:30 a.m.. She was so excited when she saw what was in the living room. Koriann just was in bouncing up and down and was having a blast seeing all her new toys, which by the way was mostly farm and ranch type toys. This year she was really into tearing the paper and playing in the boxes, why is it that you spend money on toys and the best part for them is the boxes and tearing the wrapping paper? The rest of the day was spent trying out new toys and gadgets and talking with family on the phone. This Christmas season was one of the best ever for us, we have had so much to be grateful for this year, and we really concentrated on the true meaning of Christmas. Hope everyone else had as good of a Christmas as we did.
Another horse, she loves riding it.
Opening gifts from Grandma and granddad Dalton.

Grandma and Granddad Dalton gave her this awesome Semi and Trailer, it is her favorite gift and she plays with it all the time. Her olny wish is that it was bigger to hold all her horses and cows, and does she ever pack them in their, that is the Dalton side coming out in her Zeke says. She also got this John Deere tractor set and just loves it, she was mad at her dad because he couldn't get them out fast enough, stupid twisty ties. Uncle Cameron and Lance gave her a build a bear kit, which she absolutely loved putting together. Grandma and Grandpas Tucker spoiled her as well, she got this really cute cleaning set which she loves and she got new boots and snow stuff. It really is amazing how much Koriann is loved. I hope she realizes how many people love and spoil her. We are really grateful top everyone who spoils our princess and makes these occasions even better.
She loved this bear from her Great Grandma and Grandpa.
Her new farm set. More to add to the collection.

Opening another one, man was she spoiled this year.

Zeke was so excited to get a massage chair, even Koriann likes to sit in it.
Watching new movies Christmas morning and eating popcorn, two of their favorite activities.

Bundled up to run some last minute errand before the Holiday.
Little wrangler on toddlers are the cutest thing ever to me, they are they only jean that will stay on her skinny little bum.

Christmas Tree and Gingerbread Houses

Had to put this in, Koriann took this of herself, she's really been into taking pictures lately.

We have had our tree up for a while but I figured I had better get a picture of it this year. Koriann really loves the lights at night and has been getting out of bed just to look at them. Her favorite ornament is her cow, go figure. Koriann has actually been really good at not taking the ornaments of the tree, she mostly just touches them very gently. And Yeas we have a fake tree, I really would like a real one but don't want to have to deal with the mess.

We did Gingerbread Houses for FHE the other night and Koriann thought is was the greatest thing ever. She kept saying "Wow, Wow, look at this " I love how the smallest things can brighten a child day. Koriann was having a blast decorating and eating all at the same time. She even with help from dad, decorated the Christmas tree and the gingerbread man. Koriann still picks at it everyday when I'm not looking to try to steal some candy.

I must say decorating with a two year old it didn't turn out too bad.

Sledding

Here's some video of Koriann and Aniston going down the hills with Uncle Zac.

Sledding at Grandma's

Koriann just can't resist the horses, she was getting a halter for them.
Uncle Zac giving them a ride.

She absolutely loved it, she was giggling and smiling the whole time. She didn't want to get out.
Koriann and her cousin Aniston going for a ride. She doesn't like to wear gloves, so we are working on that.

This past weekend we had to go to Fairview so Zeke could get some leather supplies for the botts he is making. He was gone for most of the day doing that so we decided to make fruit cakes on Saturday morning. Koriann was so cute and lately she just wants to be right in the middle of everything just helping out. Later that after noon Zeke was trimming the horses so we all bundled up and went out in the snow. Koriann loved it, she could have stayed out all day. Aniston wasn't too sure about it but she is very tuff, and her and Koriann had a blast in the sled. Grandpas and Grandma always have cool stuff for the girls to play with.

Very Late Halloween

Our pumpkin carving, the Trick or Treat one took forever.
Koriann's bucket full of candy, she filled it up about 4 times.
Being brave at the Corn Maize.
They had goats there and Koriann loved feeding them.
The best part of the day for her, seeing this calf. She could have stayed there all day.

We had very happy Halloween. The week before we went out to Bluebell to the Corn maze and the pumpkin patch. Koriann had a blast, the best part for her was seeing the baby calf. She was running wild in the maize and was getting really brave and would hide in the stalks and then jump out at us. She loved her cow costume and still wants to wear it. It was really cute because she would moo when she was wearing it.
