Yard Work Part 2

Our new windows!!! It's so nice that we can actually see outside now!!
Koriann Easter present from Grandma and Grandpa Tucker, she loves it and so do I!!!
Zeke's hard work is really paying off. The yard is really starting to come together, I really appreciate all that he does!!
Yes, no more trees!! Zeke only has this one stump left to remove, and boy were the other 2 huge!!
The east side of our house can now actually get sunshine.


I just have to say what a amazing guy Zeke is, he is the best. The past week he has been working so hard outside on the yard, even though he leaves early in the morning and doesn't get home till late. There was so much junk in our yard from the previous owner and Zeke has gotten rid of it all, now you can actually see the back yard. Now all he has left to do is remove those ugly awnings from over the windows. Oh and we need to plant the yard, if this weather would ever cooperate. Thanks Zeke for all your hard work and taking time to still spend with Koriann and myself.

No more ugly trees - Part 1

Ya there was a tree this size on each side of the house, so ugly.

Zeke thought maybe we should of just trimmed them all up like this one, but I said no!!

The worst part about the trees was they were all leaning toward the house pretty bad. It was kinda scary when the wind would blow, I thought they might come on the house.


We finally were able to get the hideous pines trees cut down aroung our house. Seriously who in the heavens plants pine trees right next to a house? They were huge and really just a pain in the but. Hopefully now everything will grow good since our yard can actually see the sun now.

I couldn't believe how tall they were until Zeke measured them, 70+ feet tall. Holy smokes did they cause a mess they came down. It took forever to clean up all the branches and rake the pine needles and cones up. All that is left is the stumps and Zeke already has one of them out.

Oh we also got new windows this last week also, can I just say how nice it is to have them. We love them and it is nice to be able to actually open a window.

Up next is seeding the lawn, putting in the garden, and a play area for Koriann! Lots of things to do, poor Zeke. I think he is ready for this baby also so that I can help with scratch some things of our to do list.

Koriann was so so excited when she saw the pool!!

Zeke being the great dad that he is took her swimming every chance we got.
Koriann was a little nervous at first but soon warmed right up to it. She really has only been in a big pool twice, usually she just swims in her little pool at home. Koriann was getting real brave and started thinking she didn't need daddy's help since she had her floaties.

I should have been better and took more pics of the weekend, but I just didn't feel like it with me having contractions and all the whole weekend!!



I am so ready to have this baby!! I really hate the last few weeks of pregnancy, it is so uncomfortable. No matter what you do you just can't feel good, you feet hurt, you can't sleep and everything else just seems like a monumental task right? At least that is how I feel. But luckily I have Zeke here to pick up the slack, even though he already works so hard. I think right now Koriann even anticipates him coming home more than I do, because then she really gets to play. He has been so good to make dinner, do dishes, bathe Koriann and just give her as much attention as possible, oh and he gives me massages just because he is great like that.
A few weeks a go we went to Tanda's homecoming, which was way great, but it was horrible traveling and me having to sit for that long. I was miserable, but I knew Zeke wanted to go so he could see his family and he didn't want to leave me home alone. Koriann and him had a blast swimming and it was really great for Koriann to be around her older cousins, since she is the baby of them all. All the cousins came swimming and were in the hot tub and Koriann just wanted to be right there with the big kids, it was to cute.
I think Zeke favorite part of the trip was giving Zeb his boots, he worked so hard on them, so he had better like them!! All in all we had a very enjoyable trip and Koriann had a blast and played way to hard. On the way home she was sound asleep before we even got to church rock!!

Koriann is really getting into playing dress up. It is so funny some of the things she comes out wearing, on this day it was her daddy's western shirts.

Seriously it is amazing what a dad will do for his daughter, their relationship is really special!!

The other day I was in the kitchen doing dishes and I heard Koriann giggling so I went to check on her to make sure she wasn't causing trouble and I found Zeke painting her finger and toenails.
It was the cutest thing ever, it is seriously one of the top 10 things in my book that he has done for Koriann. He loves his little girl so much!!

This one cracks me up, Zeke keep talking and Koriann wanted him to be sleeping so she put her hand over his mouth and was saying shhing him.

Koriann is such a good little mom, anything that needs mother she takes care of it. The other night we were all in the living room playing and talking and Zeke decided to lay down as it was starting to get late. So Koriann decided to put him to bed, she went to her room and got all of her nighttime stuff and put it all on him. The cutest part was when she would give him goodnight kisses and tell him "It's time for bed, we go sleep, sleep." I have a feeling she is going to want to be helping with the baby all the time.

So Glad When Daddy Comes Home!!

Out of all her toys the laundry basket is a really big hit always.

Koriann is completely obsessed with Play-Doh!! Zeke and her build some really cool stuff together.

Koriann's favorite activity to do when daddy comes home, I'm so glad we don't have stairs or they would be going down those. They have so much fun together!!


Koriann is absolutely in love with her daddy!! He is the center of her world. Lately when she gets mad at me or doesn't get what she wants she runs to the back door to wait for "My Daddy"! Zeke absolutely spoils her rotten, and Koriann knows how to work him. Her favorite part of the day is when daddy comes home. She has ears like a hawk, and can hear his truck way before me and makes a beeline to the door. The cutest is when she looks out the window sporadically throughout the day looking for daddy. They have so much fun in the evening, which is so nice for me cause then I get a break, also Koriann doesn't like me to play with them, she tells me to go away.
We have been trying to get out and do a few things to starve off boredom in this freezing weather. We went bowling and Koriann absolutely loved it. She would clap and dance every time she would knock the pins over.
