Friday the 13th!!

She loves to get out the pots and pans and then tries to sit in all of them.  She actually got stuck in this one pretty good and started to scream for help.  But it is oh so cute when she does this.

Aspen wakes up with the craziest bed head, and I just LOVE it.  At least she is happy.

She gives the biggest cheeser grin for the camera.

Our little honey has hit another month and accomplished so many new things this month.  First off she officially started to walk on her 14 month birthday, hence the lucky Friday the 13th.  Aspen also mastered eating with utensils, and has said some words this month.  She is so stinkin smart, she will get her sippy and go to the fridge and reach up to the water spout and try with all her might to get some out.  Aspen LOVES to try and dress herself.  She can get her socks and her shorts on all by herself.  Her hair is getting so thick and long.  Aspen is so freakin' funny.  She LOVES sunglasses and thinks she is so funny when she wears them.  We love her so much and everything she does.  She has also mastered how to stand up to her older sister, which we are not sure if we really like it.  She can be pretty feisty, but oh so cuddly at the same time.  I really love this stage where she is at, well maybe not the 3 foot radius of foot and udder destruction left behind where ever she goes.  Here is to many more months and years of fun and excitement.

Our 4th

The parade runs right up the highway next to the canal and it is so freaking hard trying to keep Koriann away from the water.  Every second she would try to go over there, until the parade started.

Aspen was not in the best of moods but she did love her dad's gatorade.

Then Aspen decided she wanted to just be left alone and sit all by her little self.

Ah the 3 most important loves of my life.  Zeke is just as bad as Koriann and couldn't help but throw stick and rocks in the water, so then guess who thought she was big enough to do it also.

The rodeo club had the best float I have seen in a long time.  It was so freaking awesome, it would spin and each kid was riding an animal or something like that.

I LOVE the 4th of July!!  Small town celebrations are the best.  Not to many people and the kids always get a ton of candy, well at least it seems like Koriann does.  Koriann was really into the parade this year.  Her favorite part HORSES, go figure.  She liked the fire truck but didn't want to get sprayed with water so she kept hiding behind the chair.  She is such a funny little girl and we love her to death.  Aspen on the other hand only liked the candy and hated the loud noises.  Overall the parade was really great and it was really nice weather.  We just came home afterwards and grilled and let the girls swim for awhile then we all took much needed naps.  It was really sad not to see any fireworks this year, oh well maybe for UBIC we will have some.

Church dresses

I LOVE being able to take pictures of our girls on Sunday.  They usually don't last to long, but at least we get a few pictures that turn out OK.  I can't believe how big the girls are getting, I LOVE the age that they are right now.

Everyday!!

All Koriann wants to do everyday all day is SWIM!!!  It has been a scorcher already this summer and The girls just love the pool.  Aspen only likes the pool when it's warm, but Koriann on the other hand could care less if it's warm or freezing cold.  To the outside world it probably looks like my children are homeless, but in all reality they just get in and out of the pool all day long.

The girls play really well together and Koriann is very concerned when Aspen tries to stand up in the water.

Love Aspen's little sun hat, Koriann usually will only wear her hat if her dad is around.

TY Branding

LOVE being up at twin in the summer.

The view from our tent, I wasn't about to sleep out in the open with Koriann.

Koriann keep chasing the horses everywhere, we seriously couldn't take our eye off of her.  On afternoon she had woken up and got out of tent by herself with only her shirt, undies and boots on and was standing over by the horses petting BLACKIE!!  Talk about a heart attack!!  Blackie is very skittish on the ground, but for some reason he was being as calm as could be.  It's is amazing how horses can sense when they are around children and just know when to behave.

Koriann was so excited when she woke up and saw her daddy was back and they were roping.

These 2 seriously melt my heart, she is such a daddy's girl it is not even funny.

Zeke is so patient in everything he does with his girls.  Koriann LOVES him so so much.

We all had a blast roasting marshmallows.  Everyone was eating them except Koriann, she doesn't eat very many sweets and was just watching them burn.  Then she would get all sad that they would flame up and be gone.  It was so cute to watch all the kids.

I seriously don't know how Val does it everyday!!  If I am doing even half of what he does at his age and with his health problems I figure I will be doing good.  There was at least 3 times where I thought he was going to get dumped but nope he stuck it out and rode and roped the WHOLE day, which they stated at about 4 am!!
Koriann was upset because she wanted to ride her pony and Zeke couldn't ride with her at that time!!

I have decided I don't know how I used to do it, I was dog beat tired by lunch, seriously though it was pathetic I didn't even wrestle more than a hand few of calves, I merely earmarked, branded a few, and did ralgro.  I am going to chalk it up to being out of pratice and mostly being old!!

Like a fat kid in a candy store!!  I think he had perma grin on his face the whole time.

Ok so this is a very LONG post but I am to busy/lazy to split it up.  We had the funnest time down at TY Camp!!  We decided to leave Aspen with Grandma and Grandpa Tucker, which was best decision ever.  It was wind and kinda cold at night and oh so dusty.  Besides it was kinda fun just having the one on one time again with Koriann.  Speaking of Koriann she was in HEAVEN!!  She played so stinkin' HARD, and only cried when she couldn't have the horses or dogs!! She escaped with minimal injury to face and hand from pestering the dogs to death.  She LOVED riding the baby calves and wasn't scared of any thing that was going on.  Zeke was like a fat kid in a candy store and was just soaking up every minute of it.  I was a little worried at first about watching Koriann and keeping her safe but all that worked out well and we all had the best time and can't wait to go back.  Hopefully next time it won't be a dust bowl, let's all pray for rain!!

Aspen 13 Months

This little half pint has grow up so much the last month!!  She is into everything!!  We seriously can't turn our back on her.  She still isn't walking yet, hence she is going through EVERY pair of jeans we own in this house.  Aspen is such a persistent little one, she will hold her ground for as long as possible.  She is still a bitter, which in her defense is only when she is defending herself from Koriann.  She had her first overnight-er at grandma and grandpa Tuckers.  She was a n angel baby, or so they say.  Will eat anything you give her, but her favorite thing to eat is TOMATOES!!  Still sleeps like a champ.  LOVES the pool and cries every time she has to get out.  IS just the cutest little baby around and we all LOVE her so so much.
